Care that meets your child where they are. Support that meets your family where you are.
At Alabama Pediatric Therapy Services, we partner with families to support children’s development with care, respect, and clarity.
Steady Support for Your Family
We know that finding therapy services often comes with questions, uncertainty, and pressure—especially when systems feel hard to navigate. Our role is to make this part feel steadier. To listen first. To walk alongside you. And to help your child build skills in ways that feel meaningful, practical, and supportive of everyday life.

For ten years, families across our communities have trusted APTS to provide pediatric therapy rooted in partnership, dignity, and respect.
You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin.
Families come to APTS for many reasons. Some arrive with a clear referral. Others arrive with a feeling that something isn’t quite right but don’t yet have language for it. Both are welcome here.
Our team works with children and families across a wide range of developmental, physical, communication, and learning needs. We serve many Medicaid-covered and underserved families, and we understand the additional barriers that can come with accessing care.
Our goal is not to rush you or overwhelm you. It’s to help you understand what support looks like, what next steps make sense, and how we can work together in a way that feels respectful and realistic.

Integrated support for the whole child
APTS provides pediatric therapy services designed to work together—supporting children at home, at school, and in the moments that matter most.
We serve many Medicaid-covered families and also work with private insurance and private-pay families across our communities. Each service is grounded in play, relationship, and individualized care—because progress looks different for every child.

A Ten-Year Legacy
A practice built through listening
Alabama Pediatric Therapy Services began ten years ago in response to a gap between what families needed and what was available to them close to home.
Rather than accepting that gap, APTS grew by listening closely to families, children, and clinicians. It expanded through trust, word of mouth, and consistent, meaningful care—not aggressive promotion.
Today, APTS serves multiple communities across Alabama, offering comprehensive pediatric therapy and learning support while staying rooted in the values that shaped it from the beginning.
This milestone isn’t about looking back. It’s about carrying a decade of experience forward with intention.
How we partner
with families
Partnership is not an add-on here.
It’s the foundation.
Therapy doesn’t stop when a session ends. It shows up at home, at school, and in daily routines. That’s why we work closely with families, sharing insight, answering questions, and helping translate therapy into everyday moments.
Families can expect:
- Clear communication in plain language
- Respect for their knowledge of their child
- Collaboration with schools and other providers when appropriate
- Support that extends beyond the therapy room
Our goal is for families to feel informed, included, and supported, not sidelined.
Meaningful work.
Supportive culture.
Room to belong.
APTS is also a place for clinicians who want their work to matter.
Our team is built on collaboration, respect, and an understanding of the realities of pediatric care, especially in underserved communities. We value clinical expertise, lived experience, and humanity in equal measure.
If you’re looking for a workplace that prioritizes people over productivity metrics and supports both professional growth and sustainability, we invite you to learn more.
