Thoughtful care that works together

/ Services

At Alabama Pediatric Therapy Services, our services are designed to support the whole child—not in isolation, but across the environments where life actually happens.

Support that

Moves Together

Children don’t experience development in separate categories. Movement, communication, learning, and daily skills are deeply connected. That’s why our team works collaboratively, aligning therapy and learning support in ways that feel practical, coordinated, and respectful of each child’s pace.

Families don’t have to manage this alone. We help you understand what support may be helpful and how services can work together over time.

What We Offer

APTS provides pediatric therapy and learning services for children across a wide range of developmental, physical, communication, and learning needs. Services are individualized and grounded in relationship, play, and real-life application.

Occupational
Therapy

Occupational therapy focuses on helping children participate more fully in everyday activities at home, at school, and in the community.

How Our Services
Work Together

Many children benefit from more than one type of support over time. When appropriate, APTS clinicians collaborate across disciplines to ensure care feels coordinated rather than fragmented.

This may include:

  • ^
    Shared insight across therapy services
  • ^
    Collaboration with families and schools
  • ^
Adjusting services as children grow and needs change

Families are included in these conversations every step of the way. Our role is to help you understand options, not to rush decisions.

Getting Started

If you’re unsure which service is right for your child, that’s okay. Many families begin with a conversation. We’ll listen, ask thoughtful questions, and help you understand next steps whether that includes therapy, learning support, or guidance on where to start.
